We have offspring of Calumma parsonii parsonii available from October 2021. The juveniles hatched between the end of May and the middle of July and are very active. They are fed daily so far. The juveniles are used to moderate handling and know a variety of feeders. The food is supplemented with Herpetal Mineral and Korvimin ZVT+R. The last fecal samples were all negative (= no parasites were found). The parents are also German or European captive-bred chameleons of the color variant “orange eye”. All our juveniles are kept and raised individually. Photos of the used terrariums can be found here. As lighting we currently use Arcadia tubes with UV-B content (Arcadia D3 Forest 6%), which we regularly remeasure with a Solarmeter 6.5.
We sell our Parson’s Chameleons only to people who are well informed about chameleon keeping. Experience with chameleons, in general, is very desirable, as it is not an easy species to keep. It is important to us that the animals come to keepers who will care for them throughout their whole lives and who may also be interested in propagating the species in terraristics. With the young chameleon, every new keeper receives of course a proof of origin as well as a leaflet with all basic data for keeping Parson’s. Basically, we try to select sexes appropriately, but with Parson’s Chameleons, a safe sex determination is only possible at the age of 9-12 months. Please note: We do not sell chameleons outside the European Union.
