par le biais de leurs couleurs et du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/der-farbwechsel\/\">changement de couleur<\/a>. Si ils sont stress\u00e9es, ils deviennent plus sombres. Si un m\u00e2le voit un cong\u00e9n\u00e8re du m\u00eame sexe, il devient plus l\u00e9ger. Les femelles enceintes indiquent \u00e9galement, avec une couleur compl\u00e8tement diff\u00e9rente chez de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces, qu&rsquo;un m\u00e2le ne doit pas essayer de les attraper et de s&rsquo;en \u00e9loigner. On peut \u00e9galement noter des diff\u00e9rences dans la r\u00e9action des cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons aux <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/fressfeinde-von-chamaeleons-auf-madagaskar\/\">pr\u00e9dateurs<\/a> differentes. M\u00eame entre la vue de diff\u00e9rents genres de pr\u00e9dateurs, par exemple des serpents et des oiseaux de proie, on peut parfois observer des diff\u00e9rences dans la r\u00e9action color\u00e9e Comme ce comportement se produit en quelques secondes, il peut au mieux effrayer l&rsquo;agresseur de telle mani\u00e8re qu&rsquo;il le pousse \u00e0 fuir ou \u00e0 abandonner une attaque. Les cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons ont de nombreuses possibilit\u00e9s pour augmenter la surface corporelle. La plupart des cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons commencent par gonfler le sac de leur gorge. Mais m\u00eame avec de tr\u00e8s grands cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/furcifer-oustaleti\/\"><em>Furcifer oustaleti<\/em><\/a>, nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 observ\u00e9 ce comportement. Si tu tourne la branche avec pr\u00e9caution, le cam\u00e9l\u00e9on tournera aussi. D&rsquo;ailleurs, cela rend souvent difficile la photographie des cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons. Ils sondent bri\u00e8vement les alentours, puis soul\u00e8vent les bras de la branche et bang ! L&rsquo;animal est parti. Les petits cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/furcifer-wilsii\/\"><em>Furcifer willsii<\/em><\/a> ou <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/furcifer-wilsii\/\"><em>Furcifer minor<\/em><\/a> r\u00e9agissent rapidement comme \u00e7a. Mais des esp\u00e8ces plus grandes comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/furcifer-pardalis\/\"><em>Furcifer pardalis<\/em><\/a> utilisent \u00e9galement le saut pour \u00e9chapper \u00e0 des situations d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ables. Peu importe ce qu&rsquo;il\u00a0 y a sous le cam\u00e9l\u00e9on. Ils sautent aussi sur les sols en pierre, les rochers ou l&rsquo;asphalte. Gr\u00e2ce aux sacs d&rsquo;air dans leur corps, il ne se passe g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement rien.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enrouler_et_tomber\"><\/span>Enrouler et tomber<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les tr\u00e8s petites esp\u00e8ces de cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons arboricoles ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un comportement qui ressemble en partie au comportement de d\u00e9fense des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/abwehr-und-fluchtverhalten-von-erdchamaeleons\/\">cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons terrestres<\/a>. Dans <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/en\/calumma-linotum\/\">Calumma linotum<\/a><\/em> et <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/en\/calumma-boettgeri\/\">Calumma boettgeri<\/a><\/em> et les esp\u00e8ces apparent\u00e9es, on peut observer de tr\u00e8s petits cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons qui se recroquevillent au toucher, deviennent sombres et tombent. En raison de leur poids corporel plus faible et des sacs pulmonaires gonflables, rien n&rsquo;arrive aux cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons. Les cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons tombent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement dans les feuilles ou dans la zone des racines des arbres, o\u00f9 ils restent ensuite immobiles pendant un court moment et restent de couleur tr\u00e8s sombre. Pour la plupart des pr\u00e9dateurs (et aussi pour les humains), il est presque impossible de les trouver dans l&rsquo;enchev\u00eatrement de feuilles, de branches, de mousse et de racines. Ce comportement est donc tr\u00e8s efficace pour fuir les pr\u00e9dateurs. En anglais, cela s&rsquo;appelle <em>rolling<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Goutte_de_la_feuillebranche_pendant_le_sommeil\"><\/span>Goutte de la feuille\/branche pendant le sommeil<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons qui vivent dans les arbres pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent dormir au bout de fines branches qui ne font que les porter. Les jeunes animaux et les petites esp\u00e8ces utilisent m\u00eame le bout des feuilles individuelles pour dormir. On suppose que ce comportement sert \u00e0 les prot\u00e9ger des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madcham.de\/de\/fressfeinde-von-chamaeleons-auf-madagaskar\/\">pr\u00e9dateurs<\/a>, en particulier des serpents et des grands l\u00e9zards. Pas tous, mais de nombreux cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons tombent spontan\u00e9ment lorsque la branche ou la feuille qui se trouve en dessous d&rsquo;eux est secou\u00e9e par un contact. En anglais, ce comportement est appel\u00e9 <em>perch release<\/em>. Les cam\u00e9l\u00e9ons ne sont pas irrit\u00e9s par les vents forts, mais si un l\u00e9murien nocturne s&#8217;empare de la branche ou si un serpent tente d&rsquo;enrouler son corps sur la branche,
