Expedition Blog Day 3: Sambava – Marojejy

Here we go at last! We start by bus from Sambava to Manantenina, about 65 km away, where the Marojejy Park Office is located. From there we walk through a wide savannah to Mandena, then further between rice fields and to the park entrance. From there we are finally back in the rainforest. And it’s a tough one: we climb from just under 100 m to 750 m, in tropical heat and humidity of over 90%.
