Expedition Blog Day 17: Montagne d’Ambre

Another day dawns in the middle of the incredible rainforest of Montagne d’Ambre. There are many other reptiles to discover in this chameleon paradise, including various leaf-tailed geckos of the genus Uroplatus. Today we set off through the rainforest to Lac Verte. A pleasant breeze is blowing and Easter Monday promises to be very successful: we find courting chameleons with crazy colours, egg-laying females and other animals among the huge tree farms, orchids and mosses of this fantastic rainforest. A worthy day for our last day of travel in the forest, because tomorrow we will already be setting off on our final travel stage.
